Château Couhins (BIO)

At the moment, the wine is a little opaque, but it has a bright lemon yellow colour, expressive citrus fruit on the nose which on the attack becomes more interesting with notes of orchard fruit, quince, a touch of nutmeg and spice on the palate. This is a precise, well-defined wine that ages beautifully while the fruit and floral notes unfurl gradually to reveal and elegant but very accessible wine. Couhins is a bit of a sleeper, and we believe it is habitually a good deal. which we are big fans of.
